Course Description
Participate in real-world learning experiences through a hybrid delivery of experiential education. Apply knowledge and skills gained in academic studies to demonstrate social service skills in simulated, virtual, volunteer and/or field placement learning environments. Demonstrate attitudes and behaviours consistent with professional expectations.Students are required to complete all Preplacement Requirements, to be eligible to attend placement. All requirements must remain valid for the entire duration of the Placement.

To register for this course complete the Community Placement and Seminar Request Form, as special approval is required.
Students applying for placement are encouraged to complete their registration as soon as the Continuing Registration period opens. Registration dates for each semester can be found here. Please note that registration for placement courses is only available during the designated Continuing Education registration period. Late registrations will not be accepted. Students who do not register within the semester’s Continuing Education Registration timeframe will be required to wait until the next available semester to enroll.
