WORKHCF02 - Food Services Fieldwork
Course Description
Required Fieldwork placement for students who are not currently working in a Health Care FacilityRegistration for this course is restricted. It is the responsibility of the student to find a fieldwork site.
Students must complete HLTH10223 – Preplacement/Clinical Services, not part of the program of study, to ensure all required preplacement clearances are up-to date. Students will not be approved to register for the fieldwork course if their preplacement requirements are not up-to date. All requirements must also be valid throughout the duration of your fieldwork.

Once registered:
- Notify CEClinical Specialist of your preferred site(s) to confirm that an affiliation agreement is in place. Students will not be permitted to start their fieldwork hours without an active affiliation agreement with the site.
- Once confirmed, student may go ahead and secure dates with the fieldwork site.
- Fieldwork information (start/end date, location, preceptor contact, etc) must be communicated with the CEClinical Specialist and instructor prior to your start date.
- Student must access the course page to review the fieldwork handbook and/or documents required.
Additional information will be provided by the Clinical Placement Specialist who may assist, if needed, in locating a fieldwork site.
